According to the Center for Public Health, as of October 9, Ukraine reported 5,804 new cases of the coronavirus. The number of active patients is 131,809.
In total, there are 250,538 laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ukraine, of which 110,650 patients have been recovered, 4,779 have died. At least, 2,522,360 PCR tests were performed. Some 2,417 patients were discharged per day.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 7,331 cases in Vinnytsia region; 9,373 in Volyn region; 8,301 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 5,372 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 7,718 in Zhytomyr region; 10,629 in Zakarpattia region; 5,172 in Zaporizhzhia region; 14,835 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 1,262 in Kirovohrad region; 26,463 in the city of Kyiv; 10,689 in Kyiv region; 22,172 in Lviv region; 1,615 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 4,293 in Mykolaiv region; 16,107 in Odesa region; 3,921 in Poltava region; 13,981 in Rivne region; 6,405 in Sumy region; 15,284 in Ternopil region; 23,352 in Kharkiv region; 1,714 in Kherson region; 8,062 in Khmelnytsky region; 15,939 in Chernivtsi region; 5,349 in Cherkasy region; 5,212 in Chernihiv region.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
