According to the Center for Public Health, as of October 27, Ukraine reported 6,677 new cases of the coronavirus. The number of active patients reached 203,675.
In total, there are 355,601 laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country, of which 145,336 patients have recovered, 6,590 have died. At least 3,087,288 PCR tests were performed.
During the day the situation on the territory of Ukraine is, as follows:
1,022 people were hospitalized, of which 36 are children, 41 health workers;
15,997 people with confirmed coronavirus diagnosis are on inpatient treatment;
502 people connected to lung ventilators;
2,799 people recovered, including 138 children, 192 health workers;
126 deaths were reported;
33,361 PCR tests, 23,349 ELISA tests were performed.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 9,506 cases in Vinnytsia region; 12,635 in Volyn region; 13,418 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 8,819 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 12,878 in Zhytomyr region; 13,345 in Zakarpattia region; 8,463 in Zaporizhzhia region; 18,915 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 2,157 in Kirovohrad region; 34,887 in the city of Kyiv; 15,156 in Kyiv region; 28,086 in Lviv region; 3,321 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 7,194 in Mykolaiv region; 22,640 in Odesa region; 8,350 in Poltava region; 18,003 in Rivne region; 10,810 in Sumy region; 19,522 in Ternopil region; 33,806 in Kharkiv region; 3,354 in Kherson region; 13,845 in Khmelnytsky region; 20,117 in Chernivtsi region; 8,301 in Cherkasy region; 8,083 in Chernihiv region.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
