According to the Center for Public Health, some new 990 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Ukraine as of August 3.
In total, Ukraine reported 73,158 laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus since pandemic started, of which 39,876 patients have been recovered, 1,738 cases were lethal. In total were conducted 1,067,006 PCR tests. Some 333 patients were discharged over past day.
The number of registered active patients is 31,544, as of August 3.
At least 4,772 people are on inpatient treatment, of which 125 are connected to a ventilator. In total, 18,465 people needed hospitalization, 536 patients needed a ventilator.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 2,815 cases in Vinnytsia region; 3,949 in Volyn region; 1,438 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 898 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 1,948 in Zhytomyr region; 5,318 in Zakarpattia region; 846 in Zaporizhia region; 4,914 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 711 in Kirovohrad region; 8,554 in the city of Kyiv; 3,845 in Kyiv region; 9,921 in Lviv region; 128 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 642 in Mykolayiv region; 3,482 in Odesa region; 459 in Poltava region; 6,270 in Rivne region; 541 in Sumy region; 3,113 in Ternopil region; 3,950 in Kharkiv region; 230 in Kherson region; 1,189 in Khmelnytsky region; 6,143 in Chernivtsi region; 954 in Cherkasy region; 900 in Chernihiv region.
Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available.
