Ukraine recorded 1,318 new coronavirus cases, 997 patients recovered over the past day, the press service of the Ministry of Health informs.
As of July 6, in total 76,808 laboratory confirmed coronavirus cases have already been detected in Ukraine, with 42,524 patients recovered. The pandemic has taken 1,819 lives.
The largest number of active patients per 100,000 people was registered in Lviv (295.5), Zakarpattia (241) and Ivano-Frankivsk (235.6) regions.
Some 5,280 people were hospitalized, of which 158 were connected to a ventilator.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 2,898 cases in Vinnytsia region; 4,108 in Volyn region; 1,492 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 941 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 2,036 in Zhytomyr region; 5,539 in Zakarpattia region; 890 in Zaporizhia region; 5,295 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 713 in Kirovohrad region; 8,992 in the city of Kyiv; 3,980 in Kyiv region; 10,420 in Lviv region; 135 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 667 in Mykolayiv region; 3,748 in Odesa region; 477 in Poltava region; 6,538 in Rivne region; 594 in Sumy region; 3,177 in Ternopil region; 4,381 in Kharkiv region; 242 in Kherson region; 1,258 in Khmelnytsky region; 6,383 in Chernivtsi region; 969 in Cherkasy region; 937 in Chernihiv region.
Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available.
