The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine during its offsite meeting in Mariupol (Donetsk Oblast) made a number important decisions aimed at enhancing the security of Ukrainians, the Government Portal reported.

The Cabinet has strengthened the safety of navigation in the ​​Azov Sea (the territories adjacent to the seaport of Mariupol), which are subject to safety measures under the Merchant Shipping Code.

The Government instructed a number of state bodies and enterprises to ensure convenient and fast procedures for crossing the entry and exit checkpoints Kalanchak and Chongar located on the border with the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The Cabinet also endorsed a procedure for voluntary payment of Ukraine’s contributions to the UN budgets to expand funding opportunities for Mission of Ukraine to NATO in Brussels and improve Ukraine’s cooperation with NATO.
