The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its first meeting decided to liquidate the National Police’s Department of Economic Protection, as the Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said on Facebook.
“One of the first decisions of our government is the liquidation of the National Police’s Department of Economic Protection,” the PM wrote.
The Prime Minister noted that this structure has never actually protected the business, but systematically prevented entrepreneurs from working, using well-established schemes.”
“They used to receive a court’s finding to carry out investigative actions and to begin the search: computers, bookkeeping, money, materials were removed from the office, the work of the enterprise was paralyzed. And then they demanded a buyback from entrepreneurs,” Honcharuk said.
