Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry evacuated 230,000 Ukrainians to homeland during lockdown

Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Yenin in an interview with Radio Liberty said that more than 230,000 citizens of Ukraine returned to homeland with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“In general, more than 230,000 citizens of Ukraine returned to Ukraine with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And this process continues,” Yenin said.

Yenin emphasized that, despite all the difficulties of the transition period, the Foreign Ministry managed with the situation with dignity.

He added that according to the Ukrainian estimates and estimates of many partners of Ukraine, the evacuation process considered to be one of the exemplary.
