Ukraine’s government agreed on date of holding All-Ukrainian Population Census

The government agreed on the date of holding the All-Ukrainian Population Census. It is reported by the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine.

The second all-Ukrainian census will be held in November-December 2020.

During the meeting of the authorized representative in the field of personal data protection Mykola Smuk with representatives of the State Statistics Service, were discussed matters of the validity of the amount of information about the persons which will be collected during the trial census; improving forms of census documentation; maintaining a balance between a person’s right to privacy and state interference in a person’s private life within the limits clearly defined by law.

As The Journalist reported, trial census to be conducted in Kyiv.
