According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the illegal armed groups started tactical exercises in Donbas on October 16. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The militants maintain a high level of combat readiness of formations and units of 1st (Donetsk) and 2nd (Lugansk) Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
“At the “South” (Donetsk Oblast) and “Central” (Luhansk Oblast) training grounds, the enemy troops launched tactical exercises, simultaneously. The units of the illegal armed formations participating in the exercises were put on high alert,” the report said.
