The National Police, the State Emergency Service (SES) and the National Guard of Ukraine are ready to ensure security at the NSC Olimpiyskiy during the presidential debates between candidates Petro Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelensky. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Artem Shevchenko on Facebook.
“the units of the Interior Ministry, namely the National Police of Ukraine, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine are ready to ensure public order and security at the NSC Olimpiyskiy during the presidential debate. And let the strongest win,” said in a statement.
Recall presidential candidates Petro Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelensky (he received the most votes in the first round of the presidential election) declared their readiness to presidential debates. For Zelensky it was important to held debates at NSC Olimpiyskiy; Poroshenko agreed to this condition.
