The market for new cars in Ukraine decreased by 15% in May 2020, according to the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association.
The report says that Ukrainians purchased and registered about 6,000 new cars in May this year.
The most popular car brand became Toyota with 1,026 cars sold, however, it fell 17% from last year’s result.
Renault became second in popularity: 851 cars sold, which is 12% less than the previous year.
Third place took Kia with 671 cars purchased.
The five leaders include Skoda and Mercedes-Benz. Demand for this brands rose by 71% in May.
Since the beginning of 2020, almost 30,000 cars were registered, which is 7% less than the same period in 2019.
