Ukraine’s PM Shmygal: Decline in export caused difficulties in selected industries

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal has said the government is working on a support plan for all sectors of the economy. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.

According to Shmygal, the government holds meetings with the president, experts and analysts every day.

“We continue to work on a support plan for all sectors of the economy, including for industry. First of all, for its orientation to the domestic market of Ukraine, the development of export potential,” the head of government said.

Shmygal said that the decline in exports and consumption in the world, the shutdown of many enterprises in the partner countries has led to difficulties in selected industries.

“I am sure our industry will have all the necessary conditions for growth this year. Indeed, the Big Construction program remains a priority,” he added.

Ukraine is working on the development of aviation, auto industries and other sectors of the economy, which create a large number of jobs.
