Ukraine reported 1,967 new coronavirus cases over the past day bringing the overall number to 96,403, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.
As of August 19, in total 49,737 patients have been recovered, 2,144 cases were fatal.
“Some 1,967 new cases were recorded per day. A total of 1,335,000 PCR tests were conducted since pandemic started. In total, 812 patients were discharged on previous day,” the Ministry of Health reports.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 3,323 cases in Vinnytsia region; 4,878 in Volyn region; 1,816 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 1,122 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 2,536 in Zhytomyr region; 6,552 in Zakarpattia region; 1,179 in Zaporizhia region; 7,122 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 748 in Kirovohrad region; 10,945 in the city of Kyiv; 4,685 in Kyiv region; 12,448 in Lviv region; 194 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 858 in Mykolayiv region; 5,281 in Odesa region; 582 in Poltava region; 7,953 in Rivne region; 1,023 in Sumy region; 4,001 in Ternopil region; 6,607 in Kharkiv region; 312 in Kherson region; 1,678 in Khmelnytsky region; 8,108 in Chernivtsi region; 1,175 in Cherkasy region; 1,278 in Chernihiv region.
Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available.
