State-owned enterprise National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom and JSC Turboatom signed an agreement on modernizing 15 power units of four Ukrainian nuclear power plants (NPPs). This was reported by the press service of Energoatom.
The modernization of Ukrainian nuclear power plants will start this year. The program involves the replacement and modernization of the equipment of nuclear power plants, which will further increase the efficiency of nuclear power plants and increase electricity production.
The volume of modernization of nuclear power plants for 5 years will exceed UAH 6 billion.
