The Deputy Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Mironiuk began working visit to the Republic of Turkey on August 10, The Journalist reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The program of the visit provided for the meetings of Ukrainian Defense Ministry delegation with the Agency executives of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey Muhsin Dere and Vice President of the Presidency of Defence Industries of the Turkish Republic Serdar Demirel.
The parties plan to discuss the bilateral cooperation in the field of development of unmanned aerial attack systems “Bayraktar”, the supply of radio communication equipment manufactured by the Aselsan company and the possibility of participation of the forces and means of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey in the command and staff exercise with the command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Joint efforts – 2020”, as well as conducting general testing of Turkish communication means.
The delegation also planned to visit the Flight Planning and Coordination Center of the Army Aviation Command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey in order to exchange experience in the use of unmanned attack systems.
