The head of the Air Force HQ engineering service, Colonel Oleksandr Vozny, said that the Air Force had recently received new Ukrainian-made models of engineering tools, namely engineering and camouflage means of various forms and purposes, produced by military units and under factory conditions, as well as by volunteers. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“The Air Force received EO-650A excavator, UDS-114 excavator-planner, KTA-28 automobile cranes. They are quicker, more powerful, ergonomic and also fuel saving,” Vozny said.
The Air Force officers have been armed with small cumulative weapons (about 55-66 grams each). Such tools are used to destroy ammunition during demining; they also are of significantly less weight compared with TNT bombs.
