Ukrainian An-124 aircraft delivers medical cargo to Poland

A Ukrainian cargo plane delivered 56 tons of medical cargo to Poland under the NATO program. This was reported by the NATO press service.

The plane arrived in Wroclaw on May 11, with 56 tons of medical face shields and protective suits.

“Antonov’s AN-124 cargo aircraft chartered by SALIS flew from Tianjin, China; this was the third SALIS mission at the request of the Polish Ministry of National Defense. In total, 170 tons of medicines were transported to Poland under this program,” the report reads.

According to NATO spokesperson Oana Lungescu, air transport for urgent medical equipment is one of many opportunities that NATO use to solve a common problem.
