The border guards of the Kherson oblast have tightened security measures at the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea ahead of Sunday’s presidential election, UNN reports.
Thus, according to the spokesman for the Kherson border patrol, Ivan Shevtsov, for the entire election period and on the Election Day, the number of border patrols [charged with] checking documents and vehicles at checkpoints on the administrative border with Crimea will be increased.
Also for the period of elections in the Kherson region will be increased the number of border guards attire.
As The Journalist reported, CEC created 101 polling stations abroad for the presidential elections in Ukraine.
