From April 19 to April 22, the Days of Ukrainian Cinema will be held for the first time in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe.

The Days of Ukrainian Cinema will be opened with the tape of Serhii Parajanov “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors”. Guests of the festival will see six modern Ukrainian films of various genres: the historical drama Zaza Buadze “Red” based on the work of Andrii Kokotyuch of the same name, a musical comedy about Lviv batiars “Noble Tramps” directed by Oleksandr Berezan, the first Ukrainian fantasy about the superheroes “Watchtower Zastava” directed by Yurii Kova Kovyatia, animation movie “Mykyta Kozhemyaka” from the studio PanamaGrandPrix.
There will also be shown the film “Haytarma” by Ahtem Seitablaev about the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people and the criminal comedy of Oleg Borschevsky “Jidzio Contrabas”.
