According to the head of unmanned technology department Serhii Rumyantsev, “Laska 2.0” is a multifunctional platform that can be both combat and transport, perform intelligence functions, and protect the perimeter, transport ammunition and the wounded.
It is known that the combat robot has a completely flat “roof”, and the combat functions can be performed using the 7.62 mm PKM machine gun. It is controlled remotely using WiFi at a distance of 2 km. The machine can perform its tasks offline during the day.
“Weasel” moves with the help of a conventional internal combustion engine, however, electronic equipment – radar and video cameras, with which the robot can “see” the environment, as well as remotely controlled by the operator, powered by batteries, “- said in a statement.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the USA had transferred modern radar to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to detect and destroy enemy artillery.
