Minister of Health Maksym Stepaniv during his briefing held on May 8, stated that 59 laboratories in Ukraine with various forms of ownership carry out coronavirus PCR testing.
To Stepaniv, the largest number of conducted tests as of today recorded in Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Kherson and Cherkasy oblasts. This load on labs caused by the number of cases recorded in these regions.
He also added that depending on the load on the laboratory, the PCR testing results can be ready within 4 days.
