To National Bank of Ukraine, during the H1 of 2019, labor migrants transferred USD 5.54 billion to Ukraine, which is USD 254 million more than the same period last year.
The most of transfers – USD 1.9 billion – Ukraine receives from Poland. The Czech Republic ranks second with USD 505 million.
About USD 498 million was transferred from Russia to Ukraine, and USD 458 million from the United States.
The NBU added that Ukrainians received USD 3.65 billion from the countries of the European Union, and USD 559 million from the CIS countries.
