Ukrainian training boats Smila, Chyhyryn and Nova Kakhovka enter Turkish port

Three Ukrainian training boats Smila, Chyhyryn and Nova Kakhovka passed through Istanbul’s Bosphorus during the sea voyage and entered the Turkish port of Geljuk. It is reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In accordance with the training plan, they will visit the ports of Constanta (Romania) and Varna (Bulgaria).

The crews of three boats include about 50 cadets of the II and V courses of the Institute of the Navy, the Military institute of telecommunications and informatization named after Heroes of Krut, as well as the II course of the Department of Military Training of the Naval College of the Technical Fleet of the Odesa Maritime Academy National University.

When crossing the sea, the cadets conducted a series of trainings, plotted, kept watch on signalmen, helmsmen, radiometers, etc.
