“Since 2018, we have invited former ATO fighters to participate in hippo therapy sessions. In Poltava, this experiment was a success. Therefore, we plan to conduct training for combatants for further work with children and their fellows, as an equal with equals. This contributes to social adaptation, and rehabilitation, and inclusion, etc.,” says OIleksandra Handogin.

By the way, Vasyl Irkha also served in ATO. In 2014-2015 he was a fighter of the battalion of Poltava SRW.
