Ukrainians in Australia were the very first to start voting for president

Ukrainians vote in 72 countries of the world. The sites are located in the embassies and consulates of Ukraine. This writes EuroPravda.

It is reported that the first to vote for the future head of state were citizens of Ukraine in Australia. The polling station is located at the Ukrainian Embassy in Canberra, it opened at 8:00 local time (00:00 Kyiv time March 30). Voting on it will last until 20:00 (12:00 Kyiv time on March 31). Canberra can also vote in New Zealand.

It is noted that, in general, in a foreign constituency, the CEC formed 101 precinct election commissions.

The largest number of polling stations was formed in Germany, there are 5 of them. By 4 – in the USA, Poland, Italy, 3 polling stations are formed in Canada, Spain and Turkey. In Russia, all polling stations are closed.

Presidential elections will end after the closure of the last polling station in San Francisco. Voting will take place there until 6 am Kiev on April 1.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the CEC transmitted more than 420 thousand ballots to foreign polling stations.
