Ukrainian army ranked 10th in the ranking of the strongest armies in Europe according to Business Insider edition.
According to the Global Firepower rating published on the website of the publication, Russia, France and the United Kingdom were in the top three.
In compiling the list, a number of factors were taken into account, such as geography, logistic capabilities, natural resources, industrial capabilities, as well as the diversity of weapons and military assets, the level of development of the country, the number of manpower, and the like.
From 4th to 8th place is occupied by the army of Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain and Poland.
10th place was taken by the armed forces of Ukraine, whose defense budget amounted to $ 4.88 billion.
The publication counted in Ukraine 1.1 million military personnel, 2,214 tanks, 39 fighter jets (the total number of military aircraft was 240) and 25 naval vessels.
