Ukrainian writer received the award “Golden Horseradish”

The prize “Golden Horseradish-2018” was estimated by the jury by a Ukrainian writer, author of the novel “Initiation” Luko Dashvar. As reported on the Facebook page the award, which is given to writers for the worst description of sex in modern Ukrainian literature, was claimed to win eight nominees.

The jury, composed of journalist and founder of the Raguli project, Tatiana Mykytenko, literary critics Yurii Volodarskyi and Tatiana Trofymenko, writer Anna Malygon, and journalist, blogger Veronika Novykova, unanimously noted an excerpt from her novel “Initiation” as the worst description of the intimate scene.

Among the contenders for the "Golden Horseradish" were also named writers Yurii Vynnychuk, Oleksandr Denysenko, Petro Kryzhanivskiy, Andrii Tsapliyenko, Dmytro Beliy, Serhii Martynuik and Hrystya Vengrynuik.
