Ukrainian army seizes enemy weapons in successful operation near Maryinka

Units of Ukraine’s Joint Forces raided on the enemy’s rear and seized enemy mortars. This was reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation on Facebook.
Ukrainian unit carried out successful operation near Maryinka on the enemy’s rear. During a short battle, they seized mortars used by the Russian-led militants. The enemy used this weapons against the Ukrainian defenders at night time during a few weeks.
There were no casualties among the Ukrainian military. The participants of the raid are presented to state awards.
The weapons are being transferred to the area of the Ukrainian troops’ withdrawal under the Minsk agreements, where they will be further examined.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, on May 15, illegal armed groups fired on Joint Force Operation positions 45 times. One Ukrainian soldier killed in action, two sustain wounds.
