The resident of the occupied city of Horlivka, who served in the army of the so-called «DNR» for one and a half years, has surrendered to the Ukrainian police. This isreported by the Bakhmut police department of the Donetsk Oblast.
The man has voluntarily surrendered to Ukrainian law enforcement, claiming he was serving in the terroristic illegal forces because of need of having job.
«After several months of training, he was given an automatic rifle and some military equipment. Later he was assigned to serve as a sapper platoon driver. The man served as a driver for terrorists at the forefront for one and a half years. His task was to transport [on Russian trucks] militants to plant mines on the fields and territories in vicinity of Gorlovka,» – the message says.
It is noted that the military trucks «Ural» were brought from the Russian Federation, and the sappers were engaged in planting mines on fields.
The man testifies and cooperates with the investigation at the moment.
As The Journalist reported, the SBU identified a man who traveled around Kyiv with the car registration plates of «DNR».
