Ukrainians are cautioned against visiting Zimbabwe, where cholera is raging

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine recommends that citizens of Ukraine refrain from visiting capital of Zimbabwe in connection with registration there cases of cholera.

«Regarding registration of cases of cholera in the Republic of Zimbabwe, including capital of the country – Harare city, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine recommends that citizens of Ukraine who plan their trips to Zimbabwe refrain from visiting country’s capital until epidemiological situation becomes normal. To those compatriots who are already in Zimbabwe, we recommend that we take special care and follow recommendations of local authorities, medical and other competent services, as well as monitor the latest news», reports Unian.

Note that on September 11 in the capital of Zimbabwe, Harare was declared a state of emergency due to an outbreak of cholera. According to local authorities, more than 2,000 people were ill with cholera, who drank contaminated water. Twenty lethal cases have been recorded.

As The Journalist reported in Berdyansk a resting person was diagnosed with cholera.
