Ukroboronprom will supply An-178 aircraft to Peru

SE “SpetsTekhnoExport” and the Ministry of the Interior of Peru have signed a contract for the supply of An-178 aircraft. This was reported by the press service of company.

“The contract provides for the production and delivery of a Ukrainian aircraft for the needs of the Peruvian National Police, the provision of a package of training, maintenance and extended warranty services,” the report says.

Spetstekhnoexport’s offer become the best among its main competitors: C27J aircraft by Leonardo company (USA-Italy) and CASA C-295 manufactured by Airbus (Spain).

To department, Ukraine is opening the Latin American market for Antonov cargo planes, and negotiations with customers of Ukrainian aircraft from other countries are underway.
