Ukrposhta increased tariffs for letter delivery by 40%

Ukrposhta, the national operator of postal communications of Ukraine, has raised tariffs for the written correspondence delivery by 40% from September, 10.

In accordance with the decision of the National Commission for State Regulation of Communications and informatization (NCCIR), published in the Uriadovyi Courier newspaper, tariffs for postal services are raised in two stages: the first since September 10 of this year, the second from January 1, 2019.

Since September 10, the tariffs for sending of the written correspondence have been increased by 40%, in particular, for delivery of a non-priority letter weighing up to 50 g by UAH 2.

The cost of delivery of parcels within Ukraine with an average weight of 2.5 kg will increase by 15%, Interfax-Ukraine inform agency reports.

The tariff for sending parcels weighing between 10 – 15 kg within the Oblast will cost UAH 45 [VAT included], all over Ukraine it will cost UAH 51 [VAT included].

Also, since September 10, Ukrposhta has simplified the tariffication of transfers and payments in manual branches, introducing a fixed absolute commission for each range of transfe/payment amount.

As The Journalist reported, the Rozetka online store became the tenant of one of the floor in the General Post Office building for UAH 70 mln.
