Ukrposhta reports on amount of monetized subsidies paid in March

In March, Ukrposhta paid out UAH 1.9 billion monetized subsidies for utilities to retirees who receive a pension through post offices, the press service of the company reported.

According to available data, the average amount of subsidies paid is UAH 1,884, while the maximum amount of monetized subsidies was UAH 9,273.

“The maximum average size of subsidies were paid in Chernihiv Oblast (UAH 3,042), Ivano-Frankivsk (UAH 2,801) and Volyn (UAH 2,130), and the minimum average size of subsidies is fixed in Donetsk (UAH 1,493), Mykolaiv (UAH 1,445) and Odesa (UAH 1 258) oblasts,” said in a statement.

In turn, the largest amount of funds paid was recorded in Kyiv and Kyiv oblast – more than UAH 190.7 million for almost 106,000 pensioners, Kharkiv – more than UAH 154.8 million for almost 80,000 pensioners, Lviv Oblast – more than UAH 114 million for more than 60,000 pensioners.

As The Journalist reported, Ukrposhta will increase salaries to postmen and heads of rural departments by 12%.
