Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allowed Ukrposhta to deliver medicines. The company also will deliver humanitarian aid (gloves, masks, etc.) to hospitals for free, the Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smilianskiy said on Facebook.

“Ukrposhta will be able to deliver medicines to the most remote corners of our country and to the most vulnerable people to coronavirus. We are already actively working with pharmacy chains and suppliers in order to arrange deliveries as quickly as possible and make it as affordable as possible (ideally with free delivery) for people in difficult situations. From tomorrow we will publish the list of partners and where to order the delivery,” Smilianskiy said.

Also, the postal operator launched free delivery of masks, gowns, gloves, etc. to the hospitals (an exact list of products is expected).

“Starting today and till the end of the quarantine, you can send free aid to hospitals from any branch of Ukrposhta, or by calling a courier, but please – send only industrial products. Such a package will be marked “for hospitals”. Weight restrictions – up to 30 kg to regional centers, up to 5 kg in district centers. If the parcel is larger – just split it into several ones, this will not make it more free,” the head of Ukrposhta said.
