Ukrzaliznytsiya plans to increase transportation prices

Ukrzaliznytsya plans to raise the tariffs for rail tickets by 25% in 2019, Radio Liberty reports.
“The change in tariffs for passenger rail tickets is incorporated in the quantitative assumptions of the forecast of the economic and social development of Ukraine for 2019 and is provided at a rate of 25%. Ukrzaliznytsya is preparing a proposal to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine to index the tariffs for the transportation of passengers in two stages, in April from 1 to 12% and in October from 1 to 12%," said in a statement.
It is also planned, from April 1, 2019, to index the level of tariffs for the transportation of baggage and cargo luggage by 25%.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrzaliznytsya will reduce the number of conductors in long-distance trains.
