In September 2019, the number of registered unemployed in Ukraine was 268.2 thousand people, which is 6.8 thousand less than in August 2019 (275.0 thousand). This was reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The number of vacancies amounted to 100.9 thousand (in August 108.2 thousand), and the load of registered unemployed per one vacancy was 3.0 (in August – 3.0).
In December 2018, 341.7 thousand unemployed were officially registered in Ukraine, which is 40.7 thousand more than in November. According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, official unemployment rate was 1.3% of the working-age population.
