Andriy Slavutskiy, head of UNICEF health programs in Ukraine, said that now Ukraine is only at the beginning of an increase in the incidence of coronavirus, reports RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, within a week or two there will be such a powerful epidemic wave that no system, especially in Ukraine, will be able to cope with it.
He also spoke about four levels of strict quarantine, which already need to be introduced:
“Most likely, with this epidemic growth, if nothing is done, we will reach the peak in January-February. Then the incidence should decline, we hope, by March-April. But, if there are very effective anti-epidemic measures, then this wave can be knocked down in December.”
