Georgy Zubko,commercial director of Boryspil International Airport has said that a new bus station will be built near the railway platform at Boryspil Airport, for Transport Strategies informs.
The report notes that the bus station will be located directly next to the railway platform of the Kyiv express, connecting airport with Central Railway Station. At this point, 16 platforms will be equipped for disembarking and boarding passengers on buses.
“Now buses have a parking place, disembarking and boarding passengers, but we see opportunities and the need for improvement. It was decided to locate the bus station close to the railway station. Thus, a transfer hub – the railway, buses and access to the airport- will appear,” said Zubko.
It is noted that design work and agreement on details regarding the pavilion of the future station, as well as organization of entrances to it are under way now.
“It is planned that a comfortable waiting room will be organized for both bus and trains passengers,” the message says.
