Six thousand law enforcement officers maintain order in Kyiv during the celebration of the Independence Day

Today, on August 24, six thousand law enforcement officers maintain order in Kyiv along with the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service. This is reported by the National Police in Kyiv on its official website.
In order to maintain public order and security during the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine, law enforcement officers closely cooperate with the Security Service of Ukraine.

«We will ensure law and order during the festive parade, all public events, concerts and football match. The Police is ready to work to make holiday passed smoothly and without excesses,» – said the Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kyiv, Andrii Krishchenko.

It is known that the Police start its work from five in the morning. The location of planned celebrations has already been checked. Explosives and cynologists worked at the inspection sites.
According to Krishchenko, at the entrance to the venue of the events, Kyiv citizens and guests of the capital have passed a surface check by the Police in order to avoid and prevent the threat of terrorist acts.
As The Journalist reported earlier, over 1,100 law enforcers deceased on duty over 27 years in Ukraine.
