More than 27,000 customs offenses totals to UAH 1.3 billion were identified by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) at the customs over January-July, 2018. This was reported by the press service of the SFS of Ukraine.
«The number of compiled protocols on the violation of customs regulations has increased by 55% compared with the corresponding period last year,» – the report said.
It is noted that from the beginning of 2018, subjects of offenses costing more than UAH 474 million were seized by the custom workers from illegal circulation. As a result of consideration of 20 thousand cases of violation of customs regulations, fines were imposed in the amount of UAH 9.3 billion. As a result of the consideration of cases, the Courts ruled to confiscate the direct objects of violations amounting to more than UAH 148 million. Also fines were imposed in totals UAH 114 million.
