The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has Summoned Leonid Chernovetskyi and His Son for Questioning

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) has summoned a former Mayor of Kiev and his son on July 17 for questioning. This was reported by the press service of the GPU.
It is reported that the Prosecutor General’s Office summoned ex-mayor of Kiev Leonid Chernovetskyi and his son, Stepan Chernovetskyi, for questioning as a witnesses in criminal proceedings.
It is noted that the criminal proceeding is related to offences, which were committed from March, 2010 to February, 2014, by officials of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, the Ministry of Economy and the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine, in a result of which the State suffered damage to the amount of UAH 2.2 billion.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office accused two deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of «financing terrorism.»
