As reported on the official website of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, representatives of the Directorate for Labor Market and Employment Development and specialists of the State Employment Service met with the National Coordinator of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Ukraine, Serhii Savchuk, to discuss the implementation of the new State Service employment position: «career advisor».
Representatives of the ILO project «Inclusive labor market for jobs in Ukraine» and ILO expert Valli Korbanese also took part in the meeting.
According to the report, the main task of the «career advisor» as an employee of the employment center will be to ensure the provision of services for job seekers, registered unemployed, and accompanying people for their further employment.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties agreed on the provision by the ILO expert of practical advice to specialists of the State Employment Service, taking into account the best international experience. This is about assistance with the job descriptions of «career advisor», their training, cooperation with other structural units for the development of the service department.
As The Journalist reported earlier, the Ministry of Social Policy stated that the Pension reform was carried out to stop discrimination against working pensioners.
