On Sunday, January 27, Yevhen Mykytenko, Ambassador of Ukraine in Qatar, met with diplomats at the embassy with Khalid M. Jolo, executive director of this company, and Faisal Al-Siddiq, head of the development department, in the office of the Qatari state investment and energy company Nebras Power. During the meeting, the state and prospects of the Ukrainian-Qatari cooperation in the energy sector were discussed. Ukrainian representatives provided information to management of Nebras Power about the investment climate in Ukraine in the field of renewable energy sources, a number of investment proposals and projects were submitted for further consideration.
They also agreed on concrete steps towards establishing cooperation between Ukrainian and Qatar investment and energy companies.
Nebras Power is a joint venture of Qatar state-owned companies Qatar Electricity & Water Co and Qatar Holding, which was created to invest in energy projects to develop alternative energy abroad.
