Number of influenza and SARS patients significantly increased in Kyiv

In total 12,789 patients with flu or acute respiratory virus disease were registered during November 12 – 18 in Kyiv. This figure is 8.1 percent more than a week earlier (11,882 people were ill). This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), citing the First Deputy Chairman of the KCSA, Mykola Povoroznyk.

During the last week an increase in the incidence of both adult and infant population is registered, namely 4,033 adults (increase by 7.7%) and 8,756 children (increase by 8.3%). The morbidity structure among children makes up 68.5%, and 68.3% in the previous week. Also it became known that since the beginning of the epidemic season (October 1, 2018), in vaccination rooms for private clinics and communal facilities, about 19437 peoples got influenza vaccines, 4,329 of which are children.
As The Journalist reported, in Zhytomyr, the third misles outbreak among believers, who are not get vacinated to religious beliefs, was registered.
