Renovated Wall of Remembrance soldiers who died in the east of Ukraine during the armed Russian aggression will be open on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv. This is reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
It is reported that the opening will be held on August 29.
It is noted that this date can become a memorable and could be declared as the Day of Remembrance of the deceased defenders of Ukraine.
Recall that the memorial is located on the outer wall of St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery (to the right of the central entrance to its territory) along the Triokhsviatytelska st. The Wall of Remembrance contains photos and biographies of about 3,000 dead servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Service, members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police, volunteers and Azov batalion, who died in the military conflict in Donbas.
As The Journalist reported earlier, the man mutilated the Memorial for UAH 24.
