More than half of houses were connected to central heating in Kyiv

As of October 23, more than half of the houses, as well as all schools and kindergartens have been connected to the heating system in Kyiv. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration, Petro Panteleyev, 112.Ukraine news agency reported.

«Today, we have supplied heat to the public sector – kindergartens, schools. We supplied heat to 63% of the houses that are managed by the city. About 36% of houses managed by association of co-owners of an apartment building, which themselves decide when it is cold and whether it is worth turning on the heating,» the message says.

It is noted that about 5% of consumers are left without hot water due to damaged networks. But at the same time the work of repair services continues 24 hours a day, Panteleev stressed.
Recall that it became known that Kyiv started mass connection of apartment buildings to the central heating system due to rapid cooling on October 20.
