In Kyiv in less than two years Metro Bridge will be rebuilt

Metro bridge over the Dnipro will be overhauled. The corresponding working draft is approved by the order of the Kiev city state administration. About this reports press service of the KSCA.

In the message it is noted that in order to improve the transport connection between the left and right banks of the Dnipro river in Kyiv auto passage of Metro bridge need to be rebuilt.
It is known that the duration of the overhaul is planned for 22 months, and the work will be financed at the expense of Kyiv’s budget in the amount of over UAH 1.8 million.

"The working draft envisages the overhaul of the roadway of the bridge deck, the overhaul of sidewalks, the repair of spans with the restoration of supporting reinforcement, the repair of outdoor lighting, the replacement of railings," the report said.

It is noted that the customer of the development of design and estimate documentation and overhaul of the specified object is defined by the municipal corporation Kyivavtodor.

Earlier “Journalist” reported that Kyiv Metro Bridge had a chance to collapse at any time.
