The deputy chairman of the Kyiv Сity State Administration Petr Panteleyev said that the finances of Kyivteploenergo might not be enough to start the heating season.

«The enterprise started its work just after the end of the heating season, so it do not get the money for heating, and therefore the necessary financial volumes for the qualitative preparation of the city for the winter are sorely lacking,» – Panteleyev said.
Also, according to the deputy chairman of the KSCA, the accident rate of the heating systems of the capital is 80%, and for timely and effective liquidation of accidents it is necessary to purchase machinery and equipment, but there is not enough funds to do this.
