On June 26th a charity evening «Anna de Kyiv. Third Millennium» will take place.
It is well-known that Anna de Kyiv (Anna Yaroslavna) during her regency founded several abbeys where her descendants for centuries found spiritual peace. One of the most famous is the abbey of St. Vincent, which was built in 1060 in the city of Senlis, France.
In 2013 not indifferent Ukrainians, who wanted to preserve their culture, joined forces around the world and bought the historic building (St. Boris and Hlib Church). Within its walls the Cultural Center of Anna de Kyiv was founded. Now the restoration and modernization works continue. Expositions of Ukrainian culture and history are planned to be held there.
As the founder of the «Believe in yourself» foundation and the chairman of the organizing committee of the first charity evening Iryna Ivanchik told us, the purpose of the charity evening «Anna de Kyiv. Third Millennium»- to raise funds to realize everything planned. Thus, Ukrainians from around the world are trying to preserve their history and culture, which is an inalienable heritage of European history and culture.
