In Kyiv, in waiting hall of South Railway Station, «Frozen in Waiting» installation will be set up, which will be dedicated to Ukrainian fighters who disappeared during the armed conflict in the east of Ukraine writes Radio Svoboda.
This was told in press service of International Red Cross Committee (IRCC).
It is known that installation «Frozen in anticipation» will be presented in the form of 10 figures of relatives who are waiting for return of relatives and close people with thematic tablets-quotations.
«Relatives of missing during armed conflict live in excruciating suspense, sometimes even for years … Families can be physically and emotionally broken, face legal and administrative problems. They can survive the loss of a head of the family and barely make the ends meet to pay bills or spend all their money on searching for missing relative», said the head of IRCC delegation in Ukraine Alan Eshlimann.
